I forgot to make an entry yesterday but it was pretty uneventful. I kept my sister company while she studied / tried to annoy her into watching a movie with me. Mission successful. We watched Hotel Transylvania (•ᵥᵥ•).
Today my family and I went to the pumpkin patch!! (˶◜ᵕ◝˶) I hadn’t eaten much breakfast beforehand because I thought that we were going to eat on the way there, so my mom bought me a giant pickle and some mini-donuts from this concessions stand / garage kitchen thing(?) because that was what they had that was vegetarian ദ്ദി ᵔ ᴗ ᵔ ).
Then we went straight to the corn maze. I wandered off for a moment at the very beginning because I wanted to see where this one shortcut led, and then when I went back they were gone and so then I was trying to go backwards through the maze to find them and eventually we found one another but that was confusing (𖦹_𖦹). Then we finished the maze and went to see the animals.
There was this one black and white goat that was very nice. My sister and I fed it lots of grass and it was very gentle and was careful not to nibble our fingers. It also let us pet it a lot. It was very cute and sweet and now I want a pet goat ( ∩´͈ ᐜ `͈∩).
Then we went over to see the chickens, who were very goofy, as chickens are (,,◕v◕,,). After that my family went on a hay ride but I didn’t go with them because it was really crowded. When they got back it was finally time to go to the actual pumpkin patch! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-
They had this thing where you could pay $50 and then pick as many pumpkins as your car could hold. So my dad decided to do that since we usually wind up paying more than that anyways when we buy the pre-picked ones. It was really fun to actually be able to pick them and we got a shit ton of pumpkins óóó(｡◕‿‿◕｡)óóó. Also I got two cute little gourds and a tiny pumpkin for my Samhain altar (˶◜ᵕ◝˶).
After that we went to this really good Mexican place that we often go to in the summers because it’s in a town near our cabin. I got this really yummy thing I forgot the name of and some horchata (っ˘ڡ˘ς). And after dinner we got ice cream at the same place ^ω^. I got the pistachio flavor and it was really good. Also my sister got cucumber so we both had green ice cream and were matchy-matchy (*●ω●)人(●ω●*).
Then we went home. It’s an hour-long drive. When we got home it was dark, and I helped my parents unload the pumpkins while my sister practiced piano.
