Last night I finished watching Interview with the Vampire. I loved it!! It was a really good movie. Very gay (•ᵥᵥ•)♡(•ᵥᵥ•).
Both of my fall breaks are over now, so I have to go back to school (╥﹏╥). The longer that I take these college classes, the more certain I am that college is not something that I want to do. But I can’t really talk to anyone about that because whenever I try to talk through possibilities with my parents they decide that I am not at all certain about anything and therefore never can be, so when I do make a decision they don’t believe me (._.).
But all of my current plans to leave this country involve going to college, so… Idk I think that I would like to major in film or something but then I would probably be unemployed (ツ). I think majoring in anything else would slowly kill my soul, honestly (not to be dramatic) ◉,◉. I love history but I think that that would be very overwhelming to major in, especially when the language isn’t my native one. I wouldn’t like to major in a language because then I would have to be talking all day and that would be exhausting (_ _). I like lectures much more than interactive lessons, so I probably shouldn’t major in a language, then… Idfk what to do.
And I hate being a senior and having people constantly ask me where I am going to college because then I just feel like everyone knows, like it’s cemented and I can’t change my mind. It’s very overwhelming and I wish they would stop (◞‸◟;).
I feel like Julie from Verdens verste menneske.
But, anyways… I went to my high school and checked into my study hall. Did basically nothing because it’s not like I have anything to work on anyways ɿ(◉◞◉)ɼ. Then my mom drove me to the college for my history class, which was really good!! At the beginning of class the professor handed out the essays that we wrote on 2. October. Andd… drum roll please… ₍₍⚞(˶˃ ꒳ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾ I got a grade of 96% RAHH!! ༼ง=ಠ益ಠ=༽ง I didn’t think it was going to be that high and it made me very happy. It was on Carneiro’s “A Theory on the Origin of the State”.
In German we spent the whole class time on “Der Erlkönig” which was super fun (๑>ᴗ<๑). My high school German teacher had us read it in my second year of German and it is one of my favorite poems (♡∀♡). At the end of class we watched this weird modern performance of it by some a cappella group which was lowkey not terrible. Lemme see if I can find it… here it is: https://youtu.be/H3wa077Uvac?. We also watched Franz Schubert’s version, ofc.
Then my dad came to pick me up and we went to the pho place. There is this waiter there who is super nice, I will just call him H to protect his privacy, but today he asked us our names since we go there so often and wrote them down and idk why I am writing that here but I think it just restored my faith in humanity a bit or made me happy or something. He’s sweet (˶◜ᵕ◝˶).
After that my dad drove me back to the high school and I went to my English class. We had a sub and basically didn’t do anything. She handed out this review packet but I don’t think that anyone did it, so.
Then my mom and sister and I went home. On the way we stopped at the grocery store and got some clementines (I love that word omgs), some cereal, a carton of eggs, some cream, a thing of blueberries, and… *suspense*… some oatmeal cream pies ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝. Plus some other things that I don’t remember probably.
For dinner my mom made this super yummy knoephla soup and she made it vegetarian so I could eat it, and it was so good and warm ( ∩´͈ ᐜ `͈∩)♡.
